The TLOF Studio: Breathing Life into Soundscapes
In the TLOF Studio, a vibrant musical journey unfolds across a wide spectrum of genres. The soundtrack spans a rich and varied arc: from catchy melodies with classical elements in the Star Song (Sternenlied) to driving rock in the Dark Troll Dance (Dunkeltrolle sind ...), cheerful samba in Schokolokolade, and laid-back jazz and swing in Anders, all the way to a festive waltz in Wenn Weihnachten kommt and the heartfelt pop ballad Wir Feen sind. This rich genre variety gives Lina’s world its distinctive, infectious rhythm.
From Musical Score to 3D Cinema
The leap from the stage production via the CD audiobook to the animated 3D short film has supercharged our musical process. We now score directly to picture, syncing musical crescendos with Lina's expressions, camera pans, and magical lighting effects. The acoustic theater in children's minds is now unfolding on screen—steeped in handcrafted musical devotion.
